Louise Hart, Founder
The Kentucky native offers sophisticated taste, an appreciation for a well-lived life (read: durable and stain-resistant), and a sense of fun to create timeless homes. She splits her time between New York City and Litchfield County, CT, and her work features enchanting details, layered patterns, textures, and colors.
As a child, she spent countless hours antiquing with her mother, drawing floor plans, and pouring over shelter magazines. Louise then studied art history and inhabited elegant spaces in Florence, Italy and Paris, France. She earned her BA from the UPenn, her MA from NYU, and co-wrote a book while living at the US Residence in Paris.
Louise honed her style sense and storytelling skills at Vogue and GQ. After a brief stint in retail, she enrolled at the New York School of Interior Design and launched Louise Hart Interiors in 2021.
As the mother of three, Louise gets that a home needs form and function. She loves nothing more than the hunt for the most perfect print, artwork, or piece of furniture, and she enjoys collaborating with the worldβs foremost artisans and manufacturers to create bespoke pieces for clients.
